For a cargo bike - Bosch motor
It seems to be a choice between cheapo Apple Air Tag based jobbies and the more serious full-on GPS based ones that don't rely on having people nearby with the right phones on them.
I was looking at the Pow Unity system https://powunity.com/en for my wife's commuter E-bike that needs to be locked up in town and at her work for extended periods of time, has anyone used this?
Pow Unity is a good shout, easy enough to use, has a tamper warning & you can view & record in real-time.
Are these things actually worth it?
All the reports I've seen (on here) tend to say something along the lines of 'I reported the theft to the police and gave them the thief's address and they said there was nothing they could do'?
Think Bosch are working on an ebike alarm and GPS to install inside the ebike. Not sure when it's available though.
