After some advice...

I sold a coat on ebay for £270. I stated that I wanted UK shipping but did not apply settings for this (my error), a chap from Germany won the item but as yet has not paid and no email since last week (sold it 7 days ago).

Can i just relist, do I lose money if I do? Quite new to ebay so any help appreciated.

Thanks

You file a non payment thing with ebay, and they'll contact the buyer. iirc 7 days later you get your fees refunded.

He may be waiting for a shipping invoice if you only quoted UK shipping. This happened to me only 2 weeks ago (I have been ebaying for 10 years)The item I listed was only set up for UK postage, which in the past would only allow UK buyers/bidders to win the item. However, this time a guy from Sweden bought my 'Buy-it-now' item. I got a postage quote and sent him an invoice, he paid, I sent, he received and left + feedback. All happy bunny's.

Just check his feedback history 1st, if its 100% good, then you should be fine.

As far as losing money, ebay will bill you for about 10% (final value fee and maybe Paypal fee). According to them, the item is sold. If the item is not paid for, then you can go through the channels to reverse this so that you don't get stung for ebay charges.

It won't cost much more to post to Germany. The Germans are generally good to deal with. Send an invoice with accurate postage costs on it and see what happens.
