I've been shopping around for a new groupset and there's some cheap deals to be had sometimes in getting them from the Far East. I was wondering if anyone had bought one and if so if it was totally kosher?

Not a groupset but...
Bought some BB7s from China a few weeks back. Half the price of Chainreaction etc.. Ariived in 2 1/2 weeks compared to their quote of 6.
No packaging or instructions but otherwise complete.
