Ey up,

Hoping to go out with me lady for a ride this weekend. We have to go by train (From Manchester) so thought Hope etc, or Marple are probably most suitable. I only know routes from the vertebrate book, which are mainly red climbs and she's not up for that.

We've done a loop around Langsett before and managed alright but the car is out of action (Hence have to go by train) so that one is a no go.

Does anyone know any reasonably easy routes off the top of their heads that don't spend too much time on the road?

Cheers.

So you could do a linear ride, say from Edale to New Mills (via Hayfield)? Mainly Pennine Bridleway, then Sett Valley Trail.

Good idea I hadn't thought about that I'll have another look at the map. Ta
