Hi
I have these wheels on a 135 rear but need to convert to 142 for a new bike.
When I contacted Silverfish, the UK Easton distributor, they seemed to think I'd need a new axle (which Easton no longer make) but from looking at the diagram on this page it seems that I only need the end caps.
Am I missing something or are silverfish giving me a bum steer?
Thanks
A
Depends on how old they are, apparently: http://forums.mtbr.com/wheels-tires/how-determine-2010-2011-easton-haven-rear-748094.html
Thanks - it is the 121 (newer) version... I guess I need to find a dealer to check if I actually need the axle as well as the end caps. I'm still not seeing a completely clear answer.
I did this a few years ago and sure I changed the axle. Take the end caps off and see if a 12mm axle will fit through.
thanks - just had a different reply from Silverfish on their web form. I don't have the QR axle so apparently I will be good with just end caps. Phew ๐
