And has it fixed them?

Very tempted by the current price, be good to know if previous issues on the M121 hubs have been remedied effectively though.

The old set I had I never had any issues with (later hubs).

I needed the bearings doing in the rear hub so it was a timely announcement with the upgrade - put them in & continued to have no issues 🙂

Spokes arn't an issue, they are just a generic Sapim straight pull. The nipples are a pain, as generally the spokes break at the thread - you need the specific Easton ones that screw into the rim bed from the top.

Hopefully Zyro have sorted out stock now so you should be able to get them.

Cheers guv.

Would you buy again? (for £260ish a pair?)

I've got a 29er pair with the M121 hubs. Used them for 5 months prior to fitting the upgrade kit and they were fine apart from the bearing pre-load adjuster loosening off every now and again. I fixed this with a wee bit of thread lock, and since fitting the kit 6 months ago I haven't had any problems at all.
Another 'common' complaint was that the seals were rubbish but I'm happy with mine. And they are dead easy to strip and clean, similar to Hope Pro2's in that respect, so it's no hardship popping them open every now and again.

I paid £360 for mine 12 months ago and I thought that was a bit of a bargain, but £260 is a steal. I would have no qualms running another pair as they're fairly light, reasonably stiff, and the rims are holding up well to repeated abuse on fast rocky descents.

Ooohh yeah CRC are cheap at the moment. Shame the combo I'd want are out of stock!
