Currently putting together parts for a new build and am struggling with the bars. Can anyone advise and if possible post pics of the easton ec70 monkeylite DH bars (not the standard marketing shots available through google)? Is the coloured bit in the centre like an orange annodize or is it bronze?

Having seen a pair of those snap in the middle of the bend on someone on a race run at dunkeld, just before the top chute - I wouldn't go near them with someone else's 10 foot bargepole.
EDIT: and i'm not an anti-carbon hater, carbon eastons on my XC bike, carbon post, cranks, used to ride and race a carbon DH bike. Just not on my DH bike bars, unless you can afford to replace after every heavy off.
More bronze than orange I think.
Matches my bronze Reign very well.
Putting them on this week if I get time, so will take a photo after if you're not in a hurry.
