after four consecutive days of last-minute postponement it is looking like tomorrow afternoon and evening are mine..

Just going to go for a bimble up Tipleyhill and Green lane and then over the tops out to Grimspound before slowly heading back down through Lustleigh to Bovey.. nothing too strenuous.. nothing too tech.. might even give the Nutcracker a miss..

anyone want to join me..?

I'm still not 100% sure whether or not I'm going to be needed for family stuff on monday..

What time were you planning..?

You might want to bare in mind that the Lustleigh Village Show 10k run is being held that day from midday and that (as far as I can see) at least part of the run is routed through Lustleigh Cleave.. a quick google shows the run is mentioned on many of the areas running clubs websites so I'm guessing it may be popular and that may mean the Cleave's going to be pretty busy..

Yunki,

me & shinythings are doing a bivi ride near Fernworthy Sunday late afternoon if you want to come along for the ride (or the sleep-over ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Well, my daughter thinks 6am is the perfect time to get up so I'm planning on being on the moor for 8.30ish as I need to be heading home (Exeter) by about 2.

Thanks for the tip on the run - didn't know it was on and that's where I was heading (not that I knew the name of the it, first time in that area).

jruk - yeah.. I only saw the info on the run this afternoon.. I thought I should mention it..
I'll probably give it a miss on monday though as I'm not riding very regularly at the moment and my little leggies will be tired from tomorrows jaunt.. give us a shout next time though ๐Ÿ™‚

slugwash - thanks for the invite.. no sleepover for me as I have zero kit at the moment..
do you have a rough idea of a route or starting point though as I expect to be almost over in that area at some point although I hadn't actually planned to venture west of the B3212..

Hi,
Trying to make an early morning ride that is probably beyond my organisational abilities.
Do you have a start time and address?
A postcode will do.

don't fall for it yunki, you'll end up trussed up like a chicken with a que ball in your mouth and your dignity left for the sheep to graze upon.

i might be around for a normal ride at about 4 - 5 ish, depends on how much writing i can get done between now and then.

drop us a text.

fernworthy ? why's he going there, does he know something that we don't ?

in fact, don't answer that. we can take it as read that most people know things that we don't.

Now now.. I've got more than enough lovin' for everyone.. ๐Ÿ˜€

Mrs yunki doesn't mind me playing with bigger boys but I do have to be home by bedtime at the moment..

I hope to be heading out shortly after lunch to make the most of the day.. (no lights) But I'm happy to meet up somewhere later.. I'd quite like a look at that gnarly 'monkey line' that's been mentioned on here recently..
