Beofre I recklessly book flights for the 14th-20th December...will there be any snow in the swiss/french alps at this time? Flying into Geneva so plenty of options
There's been a lot of snow already in some resorts. looking at a few long range forecasts I think there will be a good early season but it will be pot luck. Flights and hotels tend to be cheap before xmas (and before the tour companies start going out) so it isn't that big a gamble.

Earliest I've ever been was a Christmas trip to Sauze in Italy. Arrive to very little snow indeed. First day was a bit meh. That night, however, it was wall to wall turbo puke as it thundered down. Happy days!
Pot luck, though.
I'm thinking of booking actual hotel etc the week before to give flexibility...next question is should I check whether husband has holiday for it first?
