DVO Jade X Spring

Nuke Proof, Cane Creek, Ohlins and Fox should all be compatible with DVO shocks. Rock Shox are a different internal diameter, though.

I have used Cane Creek VALT and an NP Ti spring on a normal Jade with no issues, and the VALT also fits an Ohlins TTX22m with no issues, so would assume an Ohlins coil would fit the Jade X

I'm just about to pull the trigger on an Ibis Ripmo AF. It comes with a 500lbs spring which is too much for me. I'm about 170-175lbs depending on gear. I've not owned a coil before and I'm really confused as to what spring size should buy. I think I need a 450lbs spring, but I'm unsure what size. The shock shows as 210x55. Coils look to be 2.5" or 3". Is this a 2.5", and will any Nuke Proof, Cane Creek, Ohlins and Fox coils fit?

Sorry for the load of questions, as I say, I'm new to coils!

You may be ok with the 500. My Ripmo AF has this fitted and I'm 85kg without riding gear. I find I can achieve the correct sag (15-18mm) with barely any preload wound on, I'm actually thinking of getting a heavier spring.
