Look at the tiny travel on that monstrous dual crown fork. I'm not sure that thing would ever manage enough speed to require those huge discs.

nostalgia's a terrible thing. They were pig ugly in their time, and it's still ****ing ugly now.

It had rubber bung suspension and a head angle from a Raleigh chopper. ย It was like someone had seen an MX bike from afar, got a five year old to draw it and then used that as the blueprint.

it was purple and had discs which made all the above forgivable though

Don't think they sold them. Proto/Team bike only iirc.ย  The RC500 was the production square tuned DH bike.ย  ย Look at the geo though, long, low, just not so slack....

@downhillfast Fairly sure it was an ex-team bike, came up for sale about 18 months ago.
