Hi.
A friend has some DT Swiss M1800 wheels on his trek. The bearings have had it on the front so I have had a look online what size bearings they are and if they are user serviceable (i hear that dt sometimes require special tools. So far i have found absolutely nothing, no sizes or dissasembly procedures.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or is it a bike shop job?

Many thanks

Andy

Google says they use a dt 350 hub.

How complicated can it be to change the bearings in front hub? They're all basically the same, a tube with bearings at either end and some dust caps. Take the caps off, knock the bearings out, put some new ones in.

The rear hub with DW Swiss star ratchet stuff, needs a special tool to get to the inner beaing behind the star hub ratchet insert. Otherwise there's nothing madly complicated going on in there. Pull off freehub, knock out axle, curse lots etc.
