What are you using?

Gorrilla tape? Stans Tape? Ghetto?

What works best?

25mm wide gorilla tape, from B&Q if you're interested in where I got it from

Fine with stans, went up with a floor pump. Didn't even need to use soapy liquid, just went straight up.

In fact got one with Stans and one with gorilla tape. They both work absolutely fine but gorilla tape is a fraction of the price and goes on easier.

Stans tape in mine, until one started leaking from the spoke holes.

Replaced with 3M duct tape for about one thousandth of the price and has been working perfectly for ages

Gorilla tape once with a 4" overlap over the valve hole

One wrap of 25mm stan's tape, with a 6" of overlap either side of the valve. Make sure you degrease the rim bed with a clean rag and isopropyl.

I have some 25mm gorrilla tape but when it sits into the rim it leaves an uncovered part of the rim either side. 27mm gorrilla tape is the same price as specific tubeless tape.

You only really need to cover the spoke holes..
