Any views on whether it's worth getting RR 481 vs R 500? They're about double the price. I've not had a rim break at the joint before so if that's the only difference I'll get the cheaper ones. If the expensive ones are stronger generally then I'll get them.
I've got a pair of dt Swiss 411 dB rims (32 hole). Theyve been pretty much bomb proof.
What riding are you doing? How much do you weigh? Rim or disc? How many holes do you want? Are you running tubes or tubeless?
Gravel, 70kg, disc, probably 28 spoke, tubeless. 38mm tyres since that's max frame clearance.
According to dt Swiss website there's 10 grams in it.

Welded vs sleeve joint. I personally think it makes a difference on rim brakes but not much difference on a disc. Using it for gravel your more likely to ding your rim, buckle it or split an eyelet than it fail on the joint.
DT Swiss rr 481 from Germany are about £50 each
