Thinking about servicing the rear hub on my Giant Anthem as I am still having problems with grating noises coming from the rear of the bike.
Its got the above hub and I've downloaded a pdf from DT swiss which shows you how to fully dismantle the hub and freehub which requires new parts and special tools.
I dont want to dismantle the whole thing, only change the main bearings. Has anyone done it, what actually is involved?

Not done it, but the hub is essentially the same as the old DT Onyx inside so I understand.
It's cartridge bearings.
