I've tried emailing DT Swiss with no reply. I want to build up a tourer with discs but run campag equipment. I have a 240 hub in 6 bolt. I've seen you can buy a campag cassette body for the road 240 hub and I'm wondering if it will fit the mtb 240.
Can anybody help?
Cheers
have a quick look at diagrams etc on DT swiss site (or b2b) and see if they have same order number?
Yes. their both the same. also Bontrager hubs based around the same DT design also fit.
Excellent - my plans are coming (slowly)
Thanks
I've just looked on the DT swiss website on the 240 hub manual diagrams and the mtb and road cassette bodies seem to have different part numbers.
Before I spend the cash are we sure that they are compatible??
Ah, mine were older ones which were def the same BUT... I have no experience with the newer stuff, don't spend money on my say so alone....
These are black 2008 bontrager branded 240s which came on the older 6 bolt race x lite wheels before they blinged them up to the newer grey colour.
give madison a shout?
There is always this option

NO - my 240s wouldnt take a road one - it 'worked' but when I fitted the cassette it didnt work... spacing slightly different - I knoocked bearings out the road un and replaced in mtb - worked a dream....
