Spotted an eBay gem this morning. Might be good for Specialized SWAT enthusiasts?

I'm still looking at it just wondering WTF. Took me ages to work out whats going on there, still dont really understand - do you have to pump up the seat post after use?

I'm out

My folding Dahon actually has a pump-post, But it is like 2 foot long, never actually used it in anger because I have a track pump in the garage already…

That eBay device looks comical…

Looks like the modern progression of the Odyssey Aerator I had on my old 1990 Cannondale SMC700

Picture number 3 on the box raises some questions. Is it an ejector seat?

The head angle in pics 3 & 4 suggest there's been a 'back of a bus' interface at some stage, too.

WHEN THE PUMP SYSTEM IS ACTIVATED, THE SADDLE CAN BE TURNED 360 DEGREES

I am intrigued. Is it just using the seatpost as a gas cylinder? Why is turning the saddle around a good thing?

I don't think it is a dropper, (could be wrong!) I think that bit collar thing is rotated by the saddle to unlock the telescopic bit that makes it a pump.

Can't wait to see this in a future edition of FGF. 😁
