[#13536896]

Bought a 2nd hand Whyte 130 with a very bouncy reverb dropper. Found a brand new Lev Integra on eBay for £86 so thought I'd give it a try.

Issue 1 . Whatever you do , don't loose the guide string down the frame. Hungover bike maintenance is my forte.  So I trod on the string and pulled it out of reach into the down tube. Bb removed for access sorted the cable routing after an hour of faffing.

Issue 2. Do not lose the tiny cable and grub screw . Due to hangover maintenance I have now lost the tiny grub screw and cable stop. Using a small electric chop block instead.

Issue 3. Matchmaker I spec or whatever means my SRAM guide levers utilises the reverb release as it's mount which I don't want anymore as the kS dropper has a separate lever

So , how do I attach the brakes to the bar and hide the chop block terminal as it will look naff . I'm thinking drill a tiny tangential hole and feed the cable routing through to the blind side so it's both not visible and less of an eyesore / another thing to cut a finger when I fall off repeatedly.

So apart from stopping drinking to allow a more sensible approach to fixing stuff this cannot be a new problem
