Heading to Eurotunnel tonight (on way to Italy) and only part of the route that remains undecided is the UK. so which route do you suggest.
Last time i went M6, M6Toll, M40, M25 antiCW,
but i wonder if the M6, M1, M25cw would be better.
bearing in mind I'll be leaving Glasgow at 6pm so no real traffic issues just looking for the least hassle/road works.

I would do the second of those two. There is even the A50 to hop across to the M1 higher as an alternative.
Don't underestimate the amount of work that goes on during the night on motorways either..

M74 m6 toll if busy then check for problem on Google maps and either m1 or 40 from there. Check for night closures. A50 is ok but noisy and too many roundabouts which get the 80 average down.
