I've read it twice and I still am confused. Any tips?

spacer is to the right.

is the 'other' end of the spacer narrower - ie. you use the bolt up against the narrow point to drift the bottom bearing out and the spacer comes with it?

Which Quad link model? (the bike on page one of the manual is different to the one inside)
