Charge Bikes concocted a 65mm 29er fork for their Cooker Team bikes.

Would it be possible to add a 15/20mm spacer to a 80/100 mm 29er Reba.

Any reason why it wouldn't work?

Again don't ask why ๐Ÿ˜‰

In theory that should work fine if it's one of the dual air type that are adjusted by the spacers.
I've never made them lower, but I have set them in between at 90 or 110mm before

I too have fettled with the spacers but never tried less than 80mm.

I wondered if there might be a reason I.e. some sort of catastrophic failure of fork if attempted ๐Ÿ™‚

I wouldn't have thought so, but you're giving me silly ideas for mine now just for a laugh!
I need to strip them down anyway, so might see how low I can go with them..
I know the DJ people have been doing it for a while with certain Marz & Fox, so no reason why it wouldn't work

Well if you can reduce a 150mm rev to 100mm I don't see why not

But the newer solo air revs seem to like reducing themselves in travel without even touching them!

Good point Steve.

The only nagging bit is that the fork would have already been reduced from a potential 120mm to 80mm.

Can you Steve?

Been thinking of some of the cheap 29er Revs on CRC for my Kona as I want a better fork, but don't want 140mm travel, more like 100-110mm.
