[Closed] Does anyone make a FRAME bag as opposed to a BIKE bag?

The midget obviously wont take a bike un-dimantled, so does anyone make something like a bike bag you'd normaly take on holliday but designed just to take the frame (and forks, seat, etc) in a dismantled state? Fancy a few roadtrips this summer and my boss is still dithering about sending me to work away from home (which would mean a new car anyway) so wondering what my options are?

hmmm, probably still a bit big, although quite a cool idea.

what exactly are you looking to put in it- all the components stripped down off the frame, or just the frame and forks? and keep the wheels separate?

Stripped down, stem off, forks out, seatpost out, pedals off, wheels in seperate bags.

I am from duffbag, we make the Stealth bag mentioned above. The Stealth bag is designed to take a bike dismantled, forks off, bars off, seat pin off, pedals off and wheels inside the bag.
The frame sits upside down, diagonally across the bag. If you wanted the wheels in separate bags you could make a bag a little (but not much) smaller than the Stealth. The wheels inside the bag do offer a little protection to the frame when in use and make the bag more rigid and easy to carry in one package.
We designed the Stealth to fit into the boot or hatchback of a car, for taking on public transport or touring generally.
Of course if there was sufficient demand for a frame only bag we would consider making one

Duffman - I'd love to know what the bag packs down to ? I've considered getting the Ground Effect one myself - as I hadn't heard of the Stealth, but the postage is restrictive.
Pics of the bag packed down, and with a dismantled bike inside would really sell it to me ๐Ÿ™‚
(If you send me a bag I'll happily take the pictures for you ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

Holy,
We are in the process of shooting video and photography of all our new bags at the moment. We only had the first batch in from the factory a week ago and will have something on our website shortly.

The Ground Effect bag, packs down smaller than ours as it is made from thinner material. Ours is made from thicker material with a water resistant PVC liner that is designed for traveling home with dirty bikes without leaking mud and water everywhere. It still packs down small, but not as small as the Ground Effect bag.

The other thing is our bag is slightly larger in size than the GE bag as ours is designed to take a slightly "burlier" size of mountain bike, (which is more our thing)

Nice try for a free bag ๐Ÿ˜‰

There is a picture on my blog of a bike in our Stealth bag that shows how it fits.

(You have to scroll down the blog a bit)
