Feeling like a caged bird today. The need to get out and go for a ride is like a panic attack.

Stuck inside working ๐Ÿ™

yes, and out ๐Ÿ™‚

for those that know it; just climbed up the b\w out of Kimble (Chilterns) and taken a cheeky trail along the tops - just sat having a bar and picking up my email admiring the view across the 'vale.

Do it - I was out this morning. Cold but beautiful. Massively underdressed so finger and toes were mega-painful but worth it for the peace and quiet and lovely views.

Trails slippy enough to add to spice but not too bad to make them scary!!

Damn you sue w! Damn you to the depths! I love daydreaming about a new bike purchase(almost as much as planning adventures) but its a bit of a financial impossibility for now and the foreseeable future. Damn. Orange 5 am. Or an alpine 160. Nice transition on here the other day as well. In black though. Specialized evo. Big trek. Kind of like to stick to Orange though..... Oky oky you get the idea...get better!

I wanted to but thanks to the work shy public sector workers I've got to look after the kids. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Would love to, but I have some sort of throat infection, and if it spreads to my chest then my weekend in Wales is ruined,

Yes. I've got the beginnings of bad winter cabin fever coming on.

I. Have. To. Do. Stuff. Outdoors.

bigthunder - never any harm in looking, is there ๐Ÿ˜‰ (worries about being a failure of a girl as I'm spending my morning looking at bikes ... oh, and I need to buy a new, shorter stem as well. But at least it's better than thinking about handbags!)

honourablegeorge - get well soon, and hope you make it to your weekend in Wales. It's quite nice here this morning, hope it's good on Sunday cos I'm meant to be riding some new "off piste" trails in gwydyr forest.

Healing vibes to all the sick and injured, and wishing budget increases to all the bike buying fantasists ... the rest of you, enjoy your ride ๐Ÿ™‚

I rode into work this morning and will ride home tonight.
I'm sat here with a rib that aches from a fall a few weeks back, one calf is twinging because it has some bramble scrapes on it and my exposure light is on charge under the desk.

I'm quite happy thank you. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Off to ride home in an hour and then night ride this evening. I am in work today despite being a teacher...

I'm tempted to ride this afternoon. I can wrangle the afternoon off too as I've plenty of TOIL and my customer is in the public sector.

Problem is I've been feeling ropey with a sore throat and head cold for over a week or more and the last time I rode, Saturday before last, I stacked it for the forth time in consecutive months.

Excuses, excuses ๐Ÿ™‚

Like samuri I rode into work this morning and will ride home tonight.
I'm quite happy as well.

Though its just as well I don't have to wear what I rode in at work as I took the 50/50 off road route and there were some mighty deep puddles of mud from yesterdays rain.

Commute in this morning, so commute home this evening, if I get away sharp I might take the tourist route. Just got a few meetings to endure first though ๐Ÿ™

Would love to be out on the bike but sadly due to the teachers strike I'm sat at home looking after a my 2 under 6's ๐Ÿ™ Hopefully will get out latter though. Just building up a 0n-One Macinato so may have a blast on the roads.

Its nice out there peeps ๐Ÿ™‚
Soggy but Sunny.

An annoying creak on the SS nearly spoiled it, but a descent seemed to rattle it clear. A cheeky lunchtime pint of bitter, and the stew is done to perfection @ 120degs for 3 hours. Calm is due to to be shattered when Jr#II comes home in a bit....ah well, dues to be paid ๐Ÿ˜‰
