Hey,
As per title, what are your views on the Hope Eternity seatpost, good, bad, other?
Also, whats the general view on carbon seat posts these days, strong enough for near 20st in weight with kit? Worth having? or shall I avoid like the plague?
Cheers ๐
Anyone? ๐
My mate has just got one with his whyte E120 but its early days. I had a carob seatpost and liked it although repeated dropping scored the lacquer.
Yup, i have two hope eternity posts.
I lurve them, although i am a bit of a hope whore!
I think they look awesome and the seat fixy bit is cool, alu blocks.
I wouldn't run from carbon at all, carbon is great nowadays.
Hope for me though.
I have had a Hope post since Feb. No complaints here, very easy to set up (seat angle etc) and hasn't budged in use ๐
Not used a carbon post due to irrational fears ๐ณ
carbon seatstays are fine, as long as you are not carbon-phobic, in which case they are still fine but you won't want to ride them.
Thanks chaps, looks like a winner maybe?
2wheels1guy, how long have you been using the Hope posts?
letmetalktomark, irrational fears of carbon here too hence the question. ๐ณ ๐
Also Hope are releasing the coloured clamps in the new year /tart ๐
Had mine for 9 & 3 months.
I used to have an irrational fear of carbon too but am coming round, especially since i clapped eyes on the On-One 456 Carbon...mmm.
Coloured clamps...mmm.
