Yes, I love mine and am getting some more for another bike. In my experience, more modulation and power than Hayes Stroker Rydes (although I do like them too) and easy to bleed etc. Only got 160s and am 15 stone too.

Excellent brakes. Powerful, good modulation, fairly light.

can they be mounted either way? i.e. swapped over without troubles re. the reservoir.

also does the lever tend to pull out when crashing. seemed to remember this happening often when my mate crashed, although he did fall often.

another Q....

does the caliper require an adaptor for 180 IS mount? can't find one on the site i'm looking at.

k24 or k18. is it worth the extra €€'s for the k24's?

You can run the levers on either side.

I broke a lever trying to do indoor wheelies while drunk once. I can't do them sober. Doh!

You'll need an adaptor for 180mm IS.

I have k18s, puros and a friend has k24s. The fcs dial doesnt do much, i'd buy k18s again. If you really want the dial it is possible to have it retrofitted.

Biancos have shorter lever blades.

cheers.

re. the bianco, surely you can just move the lever inward for OFB (one finger braking)....?

have found the adaptors needed. comes out just under €80 with titanium rotors.....

Yes, the standard lever works well for 1 finger braking.

Titanium rotors? You will be wanting puros then, carbon lever same shape as the standard lever, titanium bolts, kevlar hose, aluminium backing plates on the pads.

don't confuse me...

they're just titanium nitrate coated.

i'm happy with that.

What is the advantage of a titanium nitrate coated rotor over a normal steel one?

it looks cool. and works out a bit (€4) cheaper than those from formula and is gold.
