As it says really, do they need a quick blast with the grease syringe or are they ready to fit? Thanks in advance.

I'd give 'em a squirt tbh; most stuff comes out of factories with only the briefest hint of grease.
Like Shimano hubs...

They come dry buy should come included with a small syringe of the red grease.
