[Closed] Direct returns to SRAM

I have a faulty set of SRAM Guide R brakes. Both levers have seized due to a common fault with the internals. Is it possible to send the levers back to SRAM directly, or do I have to deal with the claim via a dealer. My concern is that I recently moved abroad, which complicates the process.

You cant deal direct (at least in the UK) but the dealer should be able to provide you the docs to send direct (the returned parts would still go via them) or alternatively if you have proof of purchase any SRAM dealer can send them back for you. They will charge for the privilege but in the UK returns are often free, so might be that its the same overseas and you just need to pay for the time it takes them. I imagine a bribe of paying for fitting and bleeding (you may well get full length ones back in return) in exchange for them returning them would work.

It's probably still easier to send back to dealer, TBH.

They've always been timely and fair in dealing with warranty returns for me.

As its a common problem, save time and money (sounds like a great Top Tip is coming) by getting them to send you the paperwork and shipping straight to SRAM? It doesnt matter who ships it as long as it has the paperwork.
