Any recommendations for a digital pressure gauge that doesn’t cost the earth? The one I have appears to be a random number generator cunningly disguised as a pressure gauge.

TopPeak one is £20-£30 seems fine and battery lasts well.

Ive got the Sks one, and before that had an oxford one. Both seem to do the job. Oxford one only died as a result of being left out in the rain, repeatedly.

Topeak SmartHead Digital Gauge D2

£21-22 most places, had mine for a while, does the job well and has an air bleed button with an updating display.

What's annoying about the topeak is that it doesn't update the pressure when you press the bleed button. You have to disengage and renengage the head. Which bleeds air anyway, because it's so finickity with presta.

^^^ my Topeak one does, there’s a button you press to make it do just that

As above, you have to press another button and then it updates as you bleed air out. Ideally it would just update anyway but ahh well.

Yep Topeak. It has helped to slow down the trashing of my wheels!

Not what your asking for as it's analogue, but, a Meiser Accu Gage from eBay via the USofA doesn't need batteries, is nice to use, it's well priced and I paid no taxes.

Meiser accu +1.

Lovely little gauge, brass not plastic, and it'll probably outlive me.

continuity - switch the unit on then press the Tune button. The display will then flash every second or so, this is it taking a reading each time it flashes so it will read every time after you press the bleed button.

I have the Fabric one from that group test and it's really good. I do my car tyres with it too.

I've got a Topeak and an SkS - neither are reliable and accurate.

The Accu-Guage is a much better bet - a lovely thing of itself as well.
