[Closed] Did this hub come with the wrong centrelock lockring?

Through-axle hubs are meant to come with a lockring with teeth on the outside, aren't they?

This is fresh out of the box it came in from Rose, and it looks like the only way to tighten it would be taking the whole axle out or doing it the old fashioned way with molegrips...

It's not meant to come like this, surely? Am I missing something fundamental?

I don't think you're missing anything phiiiiil. You'd never get a lockring tool in there! The lockring you need for that fits a HT2 bb tool.

That's interesting. I bought a cassette with a lockring the same as the one on your hub off here once. Couldn't work out how a lockring could have a greater diameter than an 11t sprocket. Clearly it's a disc lockring I had.
