****ing rediculous isnt it- similar is happening with the kitesurfing kit - some manufacturers are launching kit 18 months in advance.

Yes but when will they arrive? September? These have been in dev for a long time and will be "THE" downhill fork to have. Super sexy, ligthter, stiffer version of the current boxxer. Maybe it's some sort of pre-order system?

I thought the new design were supposed to be 09's anyway...perhaps they were delayed by a few months and now they are calling them 2010's to add some extra marketing zingyness.

Model years are stupid. Why not just release sorted product when it's ready?

I think model years are an intoxicating cocktail of sexy and dangerous.

I reckon SQ works for Best, but its just a guess ๐Ÿ™‚ In answer to his question, I cant remember, I was told by my brother who'd spotted some in a mag and was commenting on it being only 2008 at the time.

retro83 - From the script,

....but I need a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 jigowatts of electricity...

So we're both incorrect. Though in the films it actually varies between gigawatt, jigawatt and jigowatt.

(Yes, I have the script behind me on the bookshelf. My wife is a BTTF geek-level fan).
