does anyone here knows what is the offset value on fox 40 dh fork ?
I've never heard anyone ever talk about offset in DH....... so consider this a bump instead
26" - 45mm, 27.5 - 52mm.
reason behind my question is simply to find out the average wheel trail.
so if the modern dh bike is around 62ish headangle and fork has 52 mm offset then the wheel trail would be around 130 mm (650b) and 131 mm on 26er - both basically same.
i recently started geeking about it a lot as i was in past trying offset shock bushing with works components headset.
seems like enduro bike manufacturers aim for 115 mm trail.
