I live in Evesham and keep hearing there's good riding in the hills around Cheltenham and Cranham Woods (I think).
I'm wondering if anyone fancies showing me around? I don't really do Garmins and the like so Trailforks isn't much use to me once I'm out in the boonies.
Most of Cranham will be a mud slog after the recent rain.
This guide outlines the legal stuff:

If you like mud, try https://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/cotswolds-jennride-06-01-2019-50-miles-of-filth/
Slightly different but flyup 417 is just outside Cheltenham......
+1 for Project417 Also, try Leckhampton Hill and Cleeve Hill...
If you start your ride around Lecky then you can xc across to Cranham and onto Painswick beacon but as said above mud bath now and Cranham since it was signed has rather wrecked the trails more than before I live in Cheltenham yet spend more time in the Forest of Dean or Wilts but they are ok on Lecky there are some good steep downhill tracks Cleeve hill is open grassland but ok great views.
I'm in Evesham, we tend to stay away from Cranham in the winter as it's a proper slopfest.
Do you ride in the Fod ?
Yes, I ride FoD more than anywhere else.
Is Cranham more of a slopfest than FoD?
s Cranham more of a slopfest than FoD?
YES! At this time of year the only place near cheltenham that isn’t a mud bath is the top of cleeve.
Oh yeah, the Fod much better this time of year. Cranham gets chewed up very quickly .
