Me and some mates are riding in the Erlestoke 12 in a few weeks in two teams of 4. Some are travelling from quite far afield and via modes of transport that mean hiring bikes might be a preferred option.
Does anyone know of anywhere that does reasonable bike hire in the Swindon/Devizes area? Failing that I think they may look at hiring in London so if there are any recommendations for there as well I'd love to hear them

Not exactly hire, but many good bike shops have demo bikes you can borrow for a fee.
Stonehenge Cycles in Salisbury usually have some very good demo bikes in, and normally of exactly the right sort of bike for local riding on the Plain. Give 'em a call - 01722 334 915
Finely Tuned Ride is trying to put together some Cotic bikes for a demo that weekend, not sure you can "demo" the bike for the whole event thou.
