Hi there just wondering if anyone can help me , on my road bike I have some FSA Gossamer cranks with a FSA External bottom bracket which is starting to creak badly. Can I replace it with any brand? Shimano, hope etc ot does it need to be another FSA?

Depends on the diameter of the crank axle. The cheaper FSA stuff uses an odd size, the more expensive ones use a more standard size. You'll need to measure it and compare against the available BB's.
