I was really hoping he was going to pull it off, but Gwin's just too good.

Anyone else see the camera man duck out of the way when Hart smashed that last berm?

Yup, didn't miss him by much did he?

Amazing race, amazing track and great result for Gwin and Hart. Hart looked so much smoother than I've seen him before - not sure if that's right/wrong, but he was certainly miles smoother than at Fort Bill.

Freecaster crashed for me during Danny's run ๐Ÿ™ Will have to watch it back later as it sounds insane!

Didn't catch the racing but I saw the podiums for the World Cup overalls. What happened to Stevie Smith's ankle? Looked nasty as it was blowing up like a balloon!

He came 2nd in the race, and 4th overall?

Have a look here.

cheers anto, they didn't have that up before.

great to have warner back, but a couple of his warnerisms were a bit weak

Wonder how long Hart can keep it up before he gets smashed to bits? Will be fun watching him til then, some bits of his Fort William run were just nuts.

Gwin seems to be doing what hill always promised but never really delivered...

So winning World champ and World cup overall titles isn't really delivering?

he's been racing week in week out at National level since he was about 12 and He's actually a more experienced racer than many top riders way older.
After Dannys run I kinda hoped Gwin would crash or make a big mistake. ๐Ÿ˜ณ But he's still got a really good chance at Champery, that would be quite a first win!

I'm meant total domination of a series. Not denying hill is really good when he finds form but he's hardly been consistent has he?

Bit early to say Gwin is better than Hill... As for Danny Hart, I can't believe he managed to hang on on that berm, he was kicked sideways he hit it so hard

Three second place world cup overalls and numerous world championships and world cup championships, junior and senior whilst smashing the field more than a few times, na you're right no consistency. Next you'll be telling us Greg Minaar is only fast on pedally tracks.

hill has had some fantastic results and decimated the field on occasions.

My point was I can't remember anyone totally dominating a series like Gwin has since the days of Nico.

Nor dominated a series? Well in the context of a season, being World Cup and World Champion in THE SAME season is pretty conistent! Gwin has yet (we'll have to wait two weeks until then) to do this.

That's because no-one else has ever won more than 4 WC races in a season.

back in the days of nico, didn't Corrado Herrin win quite a few (3 or 4?) one year too?

corrado herrin and his bazooka. had the same effect as hill on sunday sales

gwin was just super smooth and seemed to have less corners to deal with. doesnt seem to matter what course he rides at the moment there seems to be a few lines others are missing out on.

everyone was expecting danny to be super loose but he held it together really good and lit it up at the end. serious skills.

Agree with all the above. The lines Hart took were just bonkers! I too was hoping something unfortunate would happen to Gwin!

He does look like he's on the edge - not necessarily a bad thing and great to watch though ๐Ÿ™‚ . Gwin made it looked surprisingly easy in comparison.

Yeah, Gee looked fast and on the edge - and took a big chunk out of Cam Cole's time.

Danny looked very, very fast but surprisingly controlled - and then ragged as **** towards the end. And beat Gee by 2secs.

But with Gwin you just can't tell how fast he's going because he's so smooth and in control.

Harts run yesterday and at Fort William bothmade me burst out laughing as he really shouldn't be able to hang on to a bike at those angles and speeds. This years events have been brilliant entertainment and as good as Gee and minaar are Gwin at times makes them look ordinary.

Always surprises me how small Troy Brosnan looks on a bike. He was also flying, but looked in control compared to Danny Hart.

I was standing next to Troy Brosnan and Danny Hart the day after Crankworx finished in Whistler and it is amazing, considering how slight they are, how they manage to keep control at those speeds.

Danny is fast becoming one of my favourite riders on the dh circuit.

Brosnan was amazing too yeah. Lots more to come from him!

Jack Reading was on it as well, shame about his crash.

I thought he looked fairly wild at the bottom. Troy just looked really smooth all the way down.

Aye, I remember seeing him at Ae. But some of his runs this year have looked a bit like crashes where he just forgot to fall off, makes me wonder, frinstance, how many times he could have pulled off that first big save at fort william before he ended up in a heap.

Which is awesome, obviously  Proper shout-out-while-watching stuff.
