I'm planning on riding Dalby Red route tomorrow and wondering is the XC loop a rideable addition to the loop? Does it link in at all and will I be able to follow it easily or do you need to "know" where it goes?

If you mean the race loop then some of the new bits of it are now signed as black options from the red - so easy enough to find and follow. You'll find them just after the wiggly jumpy descent fron Dixon's Hollow.
Riding the [i]actual[/i] race loop isn't really doable (without argument!) as it reverses parts of the red and black, oh and it's not signed as a loop 😉
