[Closed] Cytech Home mechanic Course ??

Anyone done one??

I now finaly have work space so want to start working on the bike a bit more .. I know the basics and am reasonable at trail side repair is it worth the outlay £250 or should i just stick to tinternet videos and teach yourself .. thoughts very welcome

The park tools big blue book is good for learning at home, a lot of it is on their website too.

For 250 quid it better come with a happy ending! Just get a book and have a crack, save the money for tools.

YouTube + spend money on tools *when you need them* not before.

I was bought his course as a gift, it is very well run and you can use their bikes or your own, but the course is very basic, if you can fit a bottom bracket, fit cranks, fit new gear cables etc then you will be top of the class. We did an hour on wheel truing which was the only part I really hadnt done before.

Tries to cover a lot of different small jobs without goung into to much details on any one
