What's recommended as a good all round tyre really? Will be used for the HONC too so fast rolling , Hard pack with some pinch resistant the better but can still move in some mud ;o)

I have not yet found the perfect cyclocross tyre for my needs but have found a couple that were no good for me.
I spend a fair bit of time on the road to get to some fire road's and very uneven paths, nothing to knarly or too muddy though.
Started off with Mud 2's stupidly, great in mud strangely enough... but far too draggy on roads/ paths for me. Same story with the Challenge Grifos I tried next (the tread pattern looked to be fast rolling like Smart Sams but wasnt)
Went for Spesh Crossroads next which I still have and am happy with, fast rolling though the compromise is they are pretty slippy on muddy trails.
Fancy giving the Small bloc 8's a go next, or maybe even Smart Sams like I had on a commuter mtb and thought were good.
Stan's Ravens here, run them tubeless too, no expert on cx tyres but do seem to be a good allrounder.
