Hi chaps,
A chap at work is after a CX bike for C2W, I've pointed him at CBoardman's offering's, PX's Uncle John and Evans - is there anywhere else I should be telling him to look (he's been to the LBS and they're a little bit expensive for him).
He's looking at about a £1000 or a bit less - no more though.
Any help, as always, appreciated 🙂
Cheers
Ricks
Standard answer is Boardman. Might be able to find a CAADX for that price if he's lucky. Both are excellent.
Sure someone will say Whyte, Rose, other online reailer but I've not ridden one.
shop4cross.de has older Ridley models at good prices too
British Cycling membership got me a further 10% off the Boardman. £70 off at the time too.
£747 for it, as much as I like my local shops and the guys there it was a no brainer at that price. Would have liked something steel but next option I fancied was around £1100 which was a lot for a winter roadie/commuter.
Dunno what that Decathlon one is like.

He'd not get it on C2W but at that price. . . .
