What bike/tyre? Anyone think they could do better? Anyone want to have a go at the Burj Khalifa? In all seriousness I may be able to arrange it. I know the person who arranged for Alain Robert to climb it.

He didnt "ride" up them, he hopped up them, I feel let down now. Id like to see someone ride up them, that would be harder. Not that I could do either. I can just about hop off a curb.

out of context this statement just sounds stupid:

Herba started his stair-climbing career in 2009, and has climbed six towers. He trained for five months for yesterday's climb and had a couple of training sessions at the hotel before his record-breaking feat.

Well done to the chap and all, but repeatedly hoping up stairs just sounds like a Yawn fest...

Any old shite gets in the Guiness books now, I think it shold pass the "does it impress an 8 year old" test, if it fails that then it shouldn't go in regardless of how hard it was to achieve...
