Evening
Looking for a bit of advice really, we're in the lucky position to be able to have a week in Tenerife in December.
It's our 1st time abroad on holiday, but I have travelled quite abit with work.
How easy would it be to hire a road bike, store it in a hotel room and wash kit for maybe 3 or 4 days? Don't want to over do it!
Anyone recommend someone friendly over there to get in touch with, and maybe a guide to how much I should expect to pay.
Oh, lookin at staying at the quiet side of the island, Puerto Santiago or similar
Cheers

Yes, there's a few places who do it, will deliver it to your door. Get plenty of gears, there are no flat roads on the island. I'm pretty sure there's a hire place just up from Puerto Santiago, near the Lidl.

There's also a place in Adeje next to the Post Office.

I hired a road bike from BikePoint in Playa de La Americas.

It was good value.
I can't remember what cassette was on the bike; 11-28 or 11-32 (I think 32) and it was still hard work being used to the normal flat fenland landscape!!

Thanks all.
Still not decided where we're staying yet, wife booking it today so should know by tonight.
Not brave enough yet to arrange own accomodation, first time abroad.
Not too bothered about it not being flat, I live on the edge of the NY moors so used to 'bumpy' roads.

Thanks, that'll probably take some getting used to!

Just been informed somewhere in Playa de la Arena has been booked!
