I've always hated cycling glasses. I hate the way they fog up when you stop moving, how they slip down when you are sweaty, get scratched if you shove them in you pack or cost loads to replace when you lose them. As a result I rarely ever wear them.
I do however hate midges in my eyes even more and last nights ride along the river was just silly, I must have got around 20 midges my eyes so time to look again.
I need something that won't fog, won't fall off, is relatively scratch resistant and, ideally, costs under £50. I would also prefer it if the glasses don't look to stoopid
Any suggestions?
Bolle Contour. £10. Screwfix.
Above your budget, but Rad8 MTB Glasses are worth a look. I think there's a STW Premier discount code so would drop a few quid off the price though.
There's a review of the 502 frames on my blog if it's of any use
For clarity, I'm a brand ambassador for Rad8 but my blog content is independent so there's genuinely no lies or tarting up of what I say...just my own honest opinions 🙂
what the perchy one says - add some bob heath visor spray and / or rainx and you have ones that actually work and unlike many expensive glasses are tested to high standards as they are industrial PPE
Just got some bolle rush, damn good glasses for a fiver.
Edit: just to add, every type of glasses i've had regardless of price fog up a bit when you're climbing or stop.
Cheers for the spray tip tjagain
I usually do not wear them, buy yesterday i went on a pub ride and crabbed a pair of these from work:
http://betafit.com/shop/betafit-x2-eyewear/x2-xtreme-smoke-tinted-safety-eyewear/
That price is for 10, not each!
So damn comfortable! Didn't fog up, didn't sweat up. Kind of forgot I was wearing them most of the time! Would happily buy them bulk and split if anyone wants some!
They come in clear/yellow/blue etc etc

Snap, but free issue from work
Go on aliexpress, buy a few pairs for buttons, wait a few weeks. Wear the ones you like.
CRC often have FiveTen ones for around a tenner - I have a few pairs (as I'm a serial loser) and they work well enough and look fine.
I use Endura sunnies, nice fit not too expensive at under £13.00
These
Have 3 pairs... They are excellent. Issued at work (as poster said above ppe approved so if a branch / rock hits them, you know they should be good). Use mine for airsoft too and taken multiple bb hits. Would not use anything else.
The Contours are OK but the nose support is a tad wider and I found they slipped a little more. Still good though.
I don't know why you would spend more to be honest.... I had a set of Oakleys at one time (juliettes) I think.... These are better in every way and about 15 times cheaper.
