Thanks to one of the bands at the local carnival the other week I can't climb without hearing Enola Gay being played on a xylophone.

This:

It was on some music show and then started being played in a few clubs.

Still in my head nearly thirty years later.
You can adapt it to your cadence and add obscene lyrics if you like.
It helps on long climbs.

Just been lifting (brah) while watching the Grand Prix and had bleeding David Essex playing in all its wide-trousered, sideburned (can you turn that phrase) glory - Hold Me Close today, Gonna Make You A Star yesterday.

**** knows why. I reckon it's due to watching that Enfield Haunting thing the other day and my mind's drifted back to the awful 70s...

Edit : Haven't cycled for ages but it'd probably be David Bloody Essex if I had...!

Depending on how challenging the terrain is it's usually No Easy Way Down or Road to Nowhere

My wife has a very odd habit of singing I'm Every Woman whilst on her bike. It's very odd.

Doom Metal, it's the only thing as slow as my cadence.

Offspring's 'Dirty Magic' or 'Nothing From Something' from 'Ignition', back when they were good.

malvern dude, dinosaur adventure is one my cycling tunes, great track!
I'll add Bee Gees night fever is great on climbs, it's got a good rhythm plus it's very uplifting, espicially the bit that goes:

Here I am
Prayin' for this moment to last
Livin' on the music so fine
Borne on the wind
Makin' it mine.

pedal pedal pedal.....

Yell, Billy[/url] Idol more often than not. "she cries more more more"

or [url=

Deep purple "Stormbringer comin', time to die"

usually going downhill, all I can hear going up is my heart leaping out of my throat, due to lack of fitness, not effort.

I had James Bunt's "bonfire heart" in my head for a whole Brass Monkeys race once. Made the mistake of telling a mate who now texts me the entire lyrics before every race. Arrrgh!

Dollar bill by the Screaming Trees, particularly when climbing in poor weather .
Witness by Rootsmanuva, on any rooty bits.

Once during a trail building session I had the music from In The Night Garden stuck fast in my head, over and over. That was a surreal day.
