Going to camp for 5 nights in the summer around Lake Annecy. I'm sure there are plenty of "serious" bike parks in the nearby apline ski resorts, but I was thinking of something a bit more sedate for myself and SWMBO to do together. She's competent on the bike, just a bit scared when it gets gnarly (well I am too, but shhhhh!). Think along the lines of North Downs swooping singletrack and that's about the idea of level she's at.
So any ideas?

Loads of good varied stuff round Annecy great place to go
and the lake is soooo warm

Lots of varied routes, although quite a lot seem to end near the hospital.....
