switchback cycles is near by isn't it? Good mate of mine has that shop and has a good mechanic, maybe worth a try if your not sure.

Had one built a few years back - lasted until I changed the rim. They won't build with black spokes though.

Presumably as they're among the folk who think black spokes are weaker. Very odd.

Beyond Mountain Bikes down the road in Cranleigh build a very good wheel indeed, I've never managed to break one.
