Got some friends who are planing a cycle tour in the Luberon for 6/7 days in early September. They plan to average 40 km per day, so that they can make plenty of stops, and want to B&B en route.
I think they've met a brick wall with regard to accommodation, but perhaps they aren't looking in the right place. Without anywhere to stay the tour will be very much curtailed; they will probably just hire a place for a week and do alot of there and backs - not ideal.....
Any recommendations of route and where to stay would be much appreciated.

change of plan. Now based near Apt for the week - just down the road from Gordes.
Got 7 days to ride (will drive to different starting points and do a series of loops) - which areas /villages are a must to ride through / see?
