(did do a search on the site but nothing came up).

Had some old Bontrager on there which died yesterday, so need some new ones but don't know much about the cx tyre options.

Riding in the chilterns (with bits of road between the muddy sections).

Thanks.

Michelin Mud2s are great for cutting through gloop whilst upright in a straight line - but slip n slide pretty easy off camber / corners.

Specialized Houffalize seem pretty good if you can find them.

I might stretch to Racing Ralphs next.

Thats all i know!

You used Bonty CX tyres in the Chilterns? Mine lasted about a month before the flint had done for them. I tried a variety of options but never found anything that gripped on the slime we are presently blessed with.

yeah, they came on the bike, but didn't last long...

What about WHEN it dries out a bit? There seems to be a few Schwalbe CX Pro's around - any good?

I used some Schwalbe Fast Freds (no longer available) and they were good and did not cut up too much. Offered no grip though. Where are you and are you racing or green laning?

not racing. Green laning kinda - riding most of my normal mtb routes (between Reding and the M40), with a bit more road or (Sustrans) cycletracks to get further afield and more miles in.
