Any give me directions how to do this, probably going to be there next Fri for a couple of runs and wouldn't mind trying the DH course.

I've heard there are two, are they rideable for a weekend warrior? (first time on full suss since august too...)

I've ridden the bottom section, other than the sketchy drop/gravel bend to start it off I'm fine over the jumps. (very slow by proper DHers standards though)

There's two sections lines which join halfway, they're a good laugh, you'll be fine, it's not too hard taken slow.
It's a trek to the top of the DH runs, head for the freeride park and go on from there up up up!

If the uplift bus isn't full, you use to be able to purchase single tickets.

Follow the road is probably the easiest way to get to the DH start. You're better off riding the Twrch trail (XC) and then paying a few £ for a single uplift.

When you get to the top of the short steep concrete ramp on the XC trail, go right up the road & turn right @ the fireroad near the top.
