Anyone know any cute little villages in Surrey for a cake and tea I can leave the wife and kid while off for a quick ride.
Tried Shere that worked nicely but they want something new.
Never really ventured beyond when checking out Peaslake and the surrounding area for riding.
There's a new cafe in tilford, Little Latte, but it's not open every day. Also a couple in Elstead - S Downs Coffee, Little Barn and Pavilion Cafe.
There's plenty in Cranleigh...
National Trust Cafes all over, including at Leith Hill Tower...
Also a cafe at the rural life centre near tilford (never been there) and Manor Tea Rooms in Seale, though I'm not sure what else you'd do around there. Oh and there's The Hobo cafe at Farnham pottery but that's a bit of a walk our of Farnham centre and there's plenty of other options in the town.
Yurt Café at Pirbright or Canal centre at Deepcut which has a playground and then a ride over Tunnel Hill exploring?
Holmbury St Mary Heartworks coffee situated at the bottom of Leith hill really nice place...only let down by lack of toilets

Little Latte worked a treat. Nice place on the Green, pub next door, nice to walk around with trails to hit nearby.
I really like Heartworks but better for me mid ride than them.
Done Leith Hill before. My knowledge after that and Shere was up.
Nat Trust places going down hill fast, check the ingredients out on their kids sandwich. It’s basically made out of cheap oil and melted plastic bags… Shame, sure it was never like that a few years back.
Lion's Den in Haslemere is a great place for coffee and the amount of food you'd want half way round a bike ride. Not the absolute loveliest location, but it's not bad. And you're on your way between lovely stuff and lovelier stuff, depending on which direction you're headed and which bike you're on.
You might also see some cycling celebs! - If your idea of "cycling celeb" aligns with who's there that day.
