I've got a quote for about £50 by ParcelForce. They don't say anything about pressurised things like tyres or shocks; there's even a page on 'how to pack a bike for shipping' which doesn't mention it at all.  Are they still confiscating things?  What do I need to know?

Parcelforce are by far the best choice, in my eyes they are brilliant.
But if you order through a 3rd party company like ParcelHero you can get it 20% cheaper for the same service.

And from my experience there is no need to let the tyres down or do anything special.

I've probably sent 30 bikes in the last 3 months and havn't had a single problem (Touch wood)!
